First Heritage Mortgage Services is seeking an experienced IT Systems Analyst for its expanding mortgage company. This position will Oversee the Mortgage Compliance and Systems Support function and staff of First Heritage Mortgage Services (FHMS). Analyze, design, configure, and support information system solutions that improve business efficiency and productivity as well as support the business strategies, goals and end users of FHMS. Identify and communicate business needs and translate business requirements into technical system requirements and functional specifications. Determine if internal or external solutions exist or whether new solutions are feasible, map process flows, and determine if the solutions impact existing work processes and systems. Ensure proper integration, testing, and system/user documentation.


Responsibilities Include:

  • Oversee the installation and configuration of new systems to customize them for (FHMS).
  • Maintain a highly motivated, well trained staff and evaluate job performance to ensure quality of work and service to members and staff. Meet with staff regularly to review goals, celebrate successes, and develop and implement effective methods for performing their job duties.
  • Maintain current software with Loan Origination and Point of Sale Systems.
  • Ensure reporting systems integrity by utilizing checks and balances and analyzing data to isolate specific challenges and opportunities.
  • Perform research and provide recommendations for additional reports, tracking tools, and/or metrics that will contribute to the management of productivity and performance.
  • Develop and analyze meaningful daily, weekly, and monthly reports for management team; Define project requirements by identifying project milestones, phases and elements; Form project teams; Establishing project budgets.
  • Determine and recommend resolutions for all project dependencies, overlaps, and gaps.
  • Prioritize and manage all performance variance analyses, identify causes, and develop action plans to correct variances.
  • Maintain Loan Origination System database and 3rd party interfaces, printers, and software.
  • Answer, evaluate, and prioritize incoming Help Desk tickets, telephone calls, voicemail messages, e-mails, and in-person requests for assistance from users experiencing problems with hardware, software, networking, and other computer-related technologies.
  • Support multiple internal teams and projects simultaneously. Create informative, actionable and repeatable reporting that highlights relevant business trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Review, assign, and monitor systems change requests.
  • Work with AMHFCU Information Systems Department in estimating work efforts through a clear understanding of project priority, scope, plan, and business objectives. Proactively work to communicate, reduce or mitigate project risks and issues.
  • Maintain constant communication with third-party vendors (e.g. MortgageBot, Byte Pro, IDS, Optimal Blue, etc.).


  • Five to eight years in mortgage operations and data mining.
  • Requires advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, concentration on Microsoft excel.
  • Ability to write macros and validation rules.
  • Experience in capturing data requirements.
  • Strong mathematical skills required (concepts and calculations involving decimals, percentages, fractions, etc.).
  • Professional, well-developed interpersonal skills (written and oral) essential for assisting team members while projecting a positive image.
  • Ability to communicate technical issues to non-technical individuals.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong organizing and planning skills with proven ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to take initiative, be creative, flexible, be able to adapt to a changing environment, and work effectively to promote a team environment.
